Who didn't want a legit FBI investigation?

Kavanaugh and McGahn, according to the NY Times.

I have not detected any anger among the Republicans I move with - I am not one. They focus on what matters: get out and vote.

Democrats yell and demonstrate - especially the younger ones but when it means getting off your ass and voting, they think it is too much of an effort.

REALLY? What do you call the anger at football players taking a knee?

Anger and outrage are fine but getting out and voting is what matters. Anger and outrage and then staying at home instead of voting is idiotic.

His representation of Swetnick did not help matters at all: accusations of gang rape without any corroboration does not help and it detracted from the credible testimony of Ford.

She didn't accuse gang rape. Read again.

She accused BK of being at parties where he gave girls Solo cups of punch.

Initially she said he was a participant. Later, she recanted and said she saw him by the punch bowl.

She recanted nothing. Read her sworn statement.

Frustration that the stadiums aren't actual plantations of the 1830's.

Can someone explain the disconnect? Trump rails against the "elites" particularly east coast elites.

Yet Trump is from NY City and went to an Ivy League school.
Kavanaugh went to Prep and Yale, YLS.

I mean, what is more elite.

And yet...

How are they able to proceed with the vote when there is now proof of texta that Kavanaugh sent and contacted people regarding the Ramirez allegations?!! This should be on the front page of every newspaper and every news outlet! Alleged Perjury and Witness tampering.

DP...I am guessing the PP is referring to the fact that a vote for a senator is 6x in Whyoming the vote for a Senator in California, or the fact that Senators representing 44% of the population are voting for a SCOTUS nominee who i opposed by 61% of the electorate. Or the fact that the dems in the House received on aggregate 53% of the vote but have 47% of the seats. No matter how you slice it, even before gerrymandering and voter supression, there is a structural imbalance.

So change the constitution or learn to win within the existing structure.

Brilliant. If only we’d thought of that.

Repubs fight in a mad genius way: hit and accuse first! Always (Roy Cohn tactics), Never apologize, never explain (Thatcher), mad threats that have no bearing on reality (Dr. Evil). As a Dem I watch in disbelief that it works each and every time. We need to up our game.

Collins called for Franken to resign without an ethics hearing and investigation. Her concern for due process and presumption of innocence is a new development

I agree completely. Where is this from?

Yes we do. People apparently love anger and bullies.

Yes. It’s all dishonest and unethical but very effective.

Trump attacked many, many women - and he fights like a droopy dog bastard against all allegations because admitting one ushers in all the rest.

They're just a bunch of hypocrites. Savvy hypocrites, but hypocrites nonetheless. Without any ethics.
