Travis and Taylor

Off topic but I have mad respect for Taylor’s parents. Just read an old article about them and seems they did everything right in raising her and setting her up for success without putting too much pressure.

Admittedly they have the benefit of being rich educated and white. But other celeb parents (and regular parents) do too and still manage to mess up spectacularly.

I see them as too close to her now and not really letting her be independent. She was fighting her dad like a 16 year old in her documentary over her right to speak out. I also see the way her Dad intervened with Travis at the concert as weird. Why would a grown woman want her Dad pushing her boyfriend into the spotlight? Maybe they did a good job in the beginning, but let the woman be a woman. It is like they froze as being her managers and never were able to fully separate.

Her Dad concerned for her safety and negotiating deals for her records (the whole scooter thing he was a part of) .All this misogyny in the face of her “pro-woman” PR is off putting.

You must have a very different definition of publicity stunt than I do. I see a guy shopping where he’s probably shopped the last 11 years.
I used to live near a baseball hall of famer during his active playing years. Saw him shopping all the time. I never thought of it as anything other than he need food but YMMV.

Too rich for instacart apparently.

I don’t think people like Taylor Swift give their home addresses out to Instacart randos. Think it through.

No, they send their personal assistant to run errands.

Everyone has her home addresses for all of her many homes—or at least we think we know all the homes.

But yeah. People likenTS have hkuse managers to keep the toilet paper and ice cream stocked or send assistants to buy stuff. Gosh, I’d hate to add my personal items or prescriptions to the list!

But maybe Travis doesn’t have a house manager who does all that planning.

I wonder how celebrities get their prescriptions and maintain privacy. If I go to CVS, for example, they shout my birthdate across the store. All our prescriptions are sitting out in a rack for anyone with good eyesight and a long lens camera to see.

CVS delivers btw. Now i've saved you some embarrassment.

They can’t deliver all meds.

What is happening!?!?

Not today. "Recent visit" which could mean anything.

https://www.hyattsvillewire.com/2023/11/30/travis-kelce-the-hall-cp/

This makes it seem like NFL players are frequently there. I wonder why TK was in town.

I can’t imagine he’d attend a UMD game but maybe the UMD quarterback’s brother (who plays for the Dolphins) is a friend.

Or maybe the Michigan game was a draw.

The UMD Hotel, near The Hall, is football themed…

“Staff said that Kelce and other NFL players have been very polite to guests who recognize them when they visit. The athletes typically don’t give autographs of take photos, but often ask them to just be able to hang out with their teammates and have fun.”

Recruiting visit.

College Park, MD seems far from where any NFL recruiting would happen. There must be something I don’t know about how that works.

The only people who care that Travis was at Trader Joe’s are creepy obsessive Taylor fans who follow her, and now consequently his, every fart.

Most celebrities live pretty normal lives too.

Didn’t Taylor have somewhat of a normal life when she was living in Northern London?

I think so during the pandemic. I read Joe and T went to London’s Pizza Express in disguise and she writes about Camden Market. I bet she could wear a mask and hide who she was.

I wonder where they lived in Primrose Hill. It’s a pretty part of London. We walked around there during a visit.

Green Bay coach said he "heard" Taylor will be at Lambeau field for the Sunday night game. He'll travel today probably.

She'll go Sunday for the day only.

She’s in Green Bay.

Is this sham over yet? I saw his team lost yesterday. And now there's rumors he and his brother are retiring after this season. I don't think Taylor is marrying or procreating with a washed up retired D-list jock.

I think it would be an interesting move for them to take a year of dating (ok that’s a long way away) and rest a bit after her huge tour. And he may be close to aging out(?)

They can work on stuff, have a staycation. He’s got plenty invested I’m sure. They can both live off their previous work, with a little add’l work for a couple of years.

Date, marry privately, start a family.

In 5-10 years she comes back with a crazy awesome album inspired by kids. He does philanthropy, commercial work, and then eventually into football commentary.

What’s more amazing is that he’s lasted 11 years, his brother 13, in the NFL when the average is 4. Of course they’re looking at retirement- there’s only so much of that a body can take. I fully expect Jason to retire. The whole Amazon documentary was supposed to chronicle his last season and he decided to stay on one more year. He’s really beaten up. I can see either of them in the booth. Travis will have a whole new career and he’ll be good at it. They’re a driven family. And not dumb at all.

Taylor pulling up the the stadium like a smoke show.

After he retires, he's just a dumb jock with a lot of free time. She'll be forced to hang out with him more and experience the real him. He'll probably gain weight. No more fandom. No more 100K fans in an arena cheering for a touchdown. He isn't smart enough to provide astute commentary like Tony Romo or Tom Brady. Taylor ain't marrying a washed up jock.

Tom Brady is a total dope. Bright and gifted on the field, space cadet off.
