Deux messed up their PR campaign and they are pissed. Taylor‘s team was working hard this week to downplay the Joe relationship. Between releasing the song about Joe not fighting for the relationship, bff Jack commenting on when the new song was written (2021 meaning there were long-standing issues with Joe), Taylor liking the Paul McCartney post (indicating Paul influenced “sweet nothing” and it wasn’t about Joe) etc. they’re trying to show that there are many issues with Joe for a long time. they’re setting up for a Travis and Taylor engagement and are getting pissed that Deux keeps saying that it’s happening because they want the ones to be releasing the new/surprising fans.

I understand that Swifties want to protect “mother” but that timeline doesn’t add up. deuxmoi records her podcast on Tuesdays and it’s released Thursday morning. Taylor didn’t release the song until Wednesday morning. DM then posted the fan submitted post about what the song is about on Thursday evening. She has not recorded another pod since then.

It seems too soon considering she is cast in a big budget Korean thriller that will begin filming soon. But I can see it being true considering how Harry fans have stated that he did not leave London the whole summer so he could be close to Taylor even though she was performing in a London play. He even relocated to live with her in Central London even though he has 3 houses in Northern London. They have been inseparable since the end of Harry’s tour.
