They seemed so not into Gerry in ATR, do we think they could muster enthusiasm for this?

The ATR was a dour room.

Trust me, the other women WILL show up to ANY televised bachelorette party or wedding b/c it involves them getting more time in the spotlight, which they want to use to increase their "brand."

Even the 60- and 70-yr olds are realizing that they can monetize their social media influence. If there is a way to get money/fame/casting in a new golden girls reality show, they ARE DOWN FOR IT.

They will fake it to make it ($$$, that is.).

I certainly hope they do. I would love to see more of Sandra, Susan, Edith ... I would love for this to be a new wave of lovely energetic women in popular social media.

I don't see the downside to this.

I do think this show was instrumental in demonstrating that the real bang is in golden women, not so much the man.

The ladies were on it. Love them.

Golden Bachelor is no longer even in the top 15 on Hulu. The producers must be p*ssed Gerry ended up such a polarizing figure.

I haven't watched the finale but weirdly it's not on Hulu yet. I wonder if they're editing out some of the less savory bits, eyerolls that were mentioned etc. Will be curious to see!

I can't believe how much everyone is analyzing all this - this is a REALITY show - they have to do the things they are doing or the show would be a bore .....all of this is for the camera and to create an "exciting/suspenseful" storyline. It would not be a show if it was polite and boring and everyone was following the rules. Would America tune in to just watch some basic people go on pleasant dates and then have the boring guy choose simply someone at the end?

Geez, he even blew the proposal. Poor Theresa, bad "joke" but she rolled with it.

You're in an Entertainment and Pop Culture discussion forum. You know that, right?

What exactly were you expecting?

Good for her! I do think she is well able to decide what she does and does not want, and strong enough to make her own choices.

You're right it's not there. They are totally editing it!

That was uncomfortable, and went in for too long

Hope they play Sade’s Smooth Operator at the wedding!
