This will be worse than the McD debacle.

Think they have made it to the MIAA Championship 2-3x in this run.

Pretty sure they also beat Prep last year but as the GP posters love to point out, "it was in March" so it doesn't count.

Unfortunately the new president and admissions director does not think st Mary’s is a lacrosse school anymore. Chasing all the talent away. Spalding is the new sheriff in Annapolis and STM has become a
Bottom feeder in the miaa. Sad times

STM hater alert. I know STM got the best player in HoCo and a bunch of Hawks kids. They've been the dominant team since 3rd grade. They'll be good for another 4 years.

No one thinks Spalding is the new Sheriff. Just dumb

Anyone watch Gonzaga vs Calvert Hall?

Blow-out City. 17-8 Final, but again it was a scrimmage. In fairness, CH fogo was incredible, and GZ was missing their entire starting defense. So possession was bad, and GZ all but conceded the match at the start of the 4th as both team cleared their benches. Could be King's last season on the sidelines if this starts to be a trend given they play McDonogh to start their season next Friday at McDonogh.

I’d say St. John’s is going be the champion again. The goalie for Gonzaga looks like he just started playing. Not sure about missing the starting D but they need to ask if they can flip their goal to the triangle.

The hungry team didn’t look very good.

McDonogh game will be over at half.

Relax people it’s just a scrimmage. Hard to really much out of these contests when coaches haven’t even finalized the rosters or starting lines.

GZ will have it figured out by the time they face-off against McDonogh next week.

McDonough could win by double digits. GZ may prove to be the best team in the DC area this year but they, along with everyone else, is far behind McDonough.

There is wide divide between DC and Baltimore over the last several years. It was close when GZ, GP and LA were grouped at the top, but I think the head to heads have been way off and will be so again this year.

There just aren't enough good players to go around in DC. There are now only 3 lacrosse clubs of any consequence in the DC area. The school programs are terrible. The rec programs are almost non-existent and outside of a little bit of Nova rec, are pretty bad with their instruction and interest level. The DC beltway expects results with no support or investment.

The counties north and AA support lacrosse both recreationally and in club sports. The schools are organized; the counties and regions have really competitive rec programs and the clubs are everywhere.

Is GZ starting goalie not the NL 25 goalie?

Bullis we be next today to face the all mighty McDonough with #1 2025 Millon looking to dominate another DMV area team. Will the #3 Attack for Bullis take over or will McDonough work Bullis like they did the short handed GZ team. Nice day for some lacrosse.

Bullis is the best IAC team this year but that’s not saying much.
