They may make a final decision at this meeting, if they hadn’t already, but very small chance they make it public as a distraction for playoff teams. Most parents are not like the ones on this thread and making an announcement at this time has zero upside in my opinion. And probably not until after Virginia final rounds. I assume ~August 1st date.

It’s a paid event so anyone can go listen to what they have to say. So they are either going to bring it up or not.

US club has their NPL, RL, ECNL nationals and just announced 8/1?

I don’t think it’s effecting anyone getting ready for nationals.

Most GA parents that I've spoken with arent as keyed into switching from BY to SY. They just dont seem to care as much as ECNL parents do. Also many GA clubs are am MLSN so this might be part of the decision process.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal one way or the other. Shouldn’t be a big secret.

Big clubs that have multiple levels do not want to deal with having MLSN and GA teams stay BY and their other teams SY.

Obviously it should be a big secret.

Mostly to annoy ECNL parents.

Why? Both GA and MLSN dont use the same paperwork as any of the other leagues. Theres additional "work" on the admin side either way.

1055 pages of posts would beg to differ - an age group change is huge for many players.

And we are still 15-16 months away from it actually happening. Once the tryouts begin next spring and the majority of parents start to focus on it, there will be a ton more complaining.

Tryouts start in December. People will start switching clubs in January.

Less than 6 months.

I meant if GA is changing or not isn’t a big deal where if you are or are not changing you are holding that info for no reason other than you are afraid to say. Because us club, USYS, AYSO have all put out statements about it.

Source?

There is no source just random guesses. Like what they've been doing for for almost a year now.

What do the People at the GA AGM have to say? They can't hide now.
