I am reminded again of the thousands of ERs around the country that deal with combative, aggressive, and unrestrained people actually trying to kill the staff, and some of whom have weapons (even guns, if they were not properly searched, which happens more than it should) -- and they somehow manage not to kill them, no matter what noises go off around them. |
Sounds like they should power down and take some training lessons from nurses. |
The recent killings have fundamentally changed how I view republicans, America, and Christians. The lack of humanity in many parts of America is astounding and heartbreaking. |
I heard that nurse forums are blowing up. I wonder how this is playing with VA and older veterans in Minneapolis? They must talk and maybe it’s spreading. |
|
After this is done, who will employ these ex-ICE thugs? Are they the sons of people we see in the photos of lynchings; a few generations removed from slave patrolers? What will be their next occupation, or will we kill this spirit in its entirety.
|
Exactly! I posted on another thread-I worked for years in the ED and routinely was in greater danger than these numpties-no one ever ended up pepper sprayed or shot. |
What should we do when they arrest children? Or mothers in the school pickup line? Or US citizens? Or when they teargas American HS students at school? What if they start arresting people they don’t like? What if they arrest your family member? Still silent? Stay silent forever? |
Why now, we have told you that it was bad. |
Oh they’ll all be in prison. |
| We need more drone surveillance of ICE's atrocities. They need to be filmed from every angle as much as possible. Just think how much is not caught on camera. |
Because “interfering” isn’t what they’re doing? Because they believe in the constitutional right to free speech? Just a wild guess. p.s. “interfering” isn’t cult-speak |
This argument doesn't really make sense though. Let's say the "agent in gray" who took Alex's gun did accidentally fire it. The agent in the black ski-cap was standing directly behind Alex at that moment, with Alex's back to him. There's no reason for the agent to then shoot Alex after hearing a gunshot behind him. It doesn't appear that this is what happened, anyway. The black ski-cap guy fired first and multiple times. Maybe his first shot was a negligent discharge, but certainly none of the others. |
Drones! Now there’s a great idea!! |
| Can Rs at least agree to stop bonuses based on arrests? That would at least drop incentives for the behaviors we are seeing. |
