| My co-worker and I were just having a conversation today about how Hilary would have made such a better president. He voted for BO in the primary. I voted Ron Paul. However, had it been McCain/Clinton, I would have gone Clinton. I did not vote in the general election, I thought both canidates were miserable. |

Can't some of you just make an attempt at a thoughtful relevant answer? I am the Hilary poster and I think the question is a good one. DCUMs might have people sooo far left they would follow BO off a cliff, but I'm sure the middle has some valid reservations. Middle? Are you here? |

| I am pretty darn leftist and voted Hillary in the primaries and wish she were president now. President Obama is not liberal for all of the groaning conservatives do to the contrary. Not that I think Hillary is a bastion of lefty ideals but what you saw was what you got. |

I bet they felt much better being marched into Iraq by the Brain Trust from the last administration. 4,400 deaths, 32000 wounded, and an additional 115,000 mild traumatic brain injuries. I'd say that Obama has a long, long way to go before people fear him more than Bush. |

I would have thought so until the last few months. My guess was always that the economy would recover just enough to get him re-elected. Just like Reagan lucked out by the economy turning by 2004. But recent events in the middle east and japan make me think gas prices will go through the roof for the next 12 months, putting us back in recession, and really dooming Obama. Out of his control for sure, but timing is everything. |
