I really wasn't trying to be mean, but now I feel really bad that I might offend people in the thread by not staying on topic, and now I feel bad due to the thread it was posted in, since it is very serious and important, and derailed it from it's true cause.

Since you are factually correct and there have been several follow-ups, unless you strongly object, I'm inclined to leave it. The thread will get back on track, I'm sure.

Calling the forum a blog is also one of my pet peeves.

Dang, you are quick! I don't know, it just feels odd to me now, and I really do feel bad, and weird about it. I guess it's because of the topic and I feel like I posted something that doesn't really belong in that thread. I don't know what I was thinking, I was reading the past 5 pages and saw "blog" a bunch of times and just thought I would clarify this was a forum instead of a blog, incase someone got confused looking for a blog with posts about this topic. I should have thought about what thread I was posting on.
