| I find it weird that you all think that hosting a nighttime event near a body of water means you should be able to go in at night. Are you all loons? Ever been to a beach party? Would you go for a swim and think it's safe just because a party is going on? |
And? |
No, but I might walk up to my ankles in the wet sand along the edge. |
Is anyone swimming? |
I've seen the pictures people have posted of their children playing in the water during the day. Are there usually lots of children playing in the water at night? That seems weird to me, too, but I haven't been to this resort. |
They project a movie onto a huge screen at night on the sand. Lots of families. Close to the water. Kids go run in and out. |
+1 Magically green lagoons trickster tourists into believing ..just my tippy toes...it looks organic! |
And people who have never stayed at a Disney resort along the waterways. |
I feel sad for you. |
If by waterways, you actually mean glorified lakes in Kissimmee... |
It turns out you were wrong. It's not organic at all. |
|
OMG
I can't believe 100+ pages of blaming parents for this? Where TF is Jeff Steele? I understand clicks will put his own kids through college, but a little bit of empathy is in order here. What a disgusting thread. |
Except Disney calls it a beach. They don't call it a sandy swamp. Or an alligator habitat. Or even a murky dirty place where scary Florida creatures reside. They call it a beach. They call all of those white sand areas beaches. Heck, they even named one of their upscale resorts the Beach Club Villa. And surprise! And guess what the guests do at the beach at the Beachclub Villa? Surprise!! They walk along the water and let their kids play and wade in the shallows. |

It is actually more crowded at night due to the boat parade and fireworks. |
