I don't buy this. I think Kate is actually in that photo and I don't even think they messed with her face. I think the lighting looks different because Charlotte is blocking part of the light source onto Kate's face, and also because I think they messed with the lighting and white balance on the photo in a way that makes the contrast between Kate's face and the kid's faces more exaggerated.

I should also note here that when people have been doing the photoshop analysis on the photo online, many people are changing the contrast in order to facilitate seeing more detail in certain parts of the photo. As a result, there are quite a few images of this photo online that are doctored even more than what was posted by the Wales's, and this might be contributing to the speculation about Kate's face being photoshopped in because if you change the contrast on this photo, it will make the kid's face brighter and Kate's face darker every time, because they are in light and her face is slightly shadowed by Charlotte's body and also just being surrounded by the kids.

Hmm. I personally think that their explanation makes the most sense. She had surgery, has a long recovery possibly with a colostomy bag, and wants to rest and not do public engagements. That makes the most sense to me.

People are also ashamed to do a #2 in a public restroom so no surprise there would be shame with a colostomy bag. It might not be shameful, but it’s something she doesn’t want to telegraph to the world whatever her role is.

If that’s even the issue with her.

Having prostate surgery is far more “private place” than a colostomy bag. There’s a huge push for adaptive clothing in stores and models right now. It makes no sense to hide it.

Four people, none of them babies or toddlers. Not at all hard to get an acceptable photo.

These are also four people who have their photos taken for wide media release all the time. Kate, George, and probably even Charlotte have likely all had formal media training. It's not like taking a photo of my husband who always tucks his chin into his neck and blinks in photos, compulsively. They are an extremely photogenic family because they work at it, and that's actually one of the reasons the two very high profile, heavily photoshopped photos in the last few months have raised eyebrows. They never had problems getting good photos before, even when the kids were younger. Why are they suddenly releasing photos that appear to have been AI generated?

This pic wasn't AI generated. While there were some bad retouching here and there, everyone has the right number of fingers and teeth.

There are problems with the photoshopping, but I don't think this is one of them.

What about the lighting on her left hand? It's very much from the left.

A British reporter was on camera live TV last week saying he does not have cancer! Someone tried to correct her saying well initially he wasn’t there for cancer, but then he was diagnosed… and she came back saying that’s not what’s wrong with him and I can’t say what it is. 😳

I saw that! No clue why she felt the need to say that.

Haha, that was my post. I've also been harping on about the photoshopped hand (index finger shortened, strong lighting from our right). I don't discount all the claims of photoshopping, just some of it, like this.
