If you compare the schools the kids are attending you’ll find it’s pretty even. |
Thank you, LBer You win. I think we can retire this thread for the year. I hope your DD didn't graduate and that you will consider live-blogging more frequently. |
Yea the captain went to NCS for the academics (unlike her sisters) and played for Cap blue. |

That was a really good game yesterday. One of the most intense and physical I have seen in girls/women's lacrosse. GC is so deep and balanced, it started to feel inevitable in the third quarter, but SJC fought to the last whistle. Didn't feel as lopsided as the score.
GC converted their opportunities in the attack zone, SJC didn't as often. GC clear is elite; very smooth. Defense is dense and flexible. Goaltending outstanding. (SJC goalie also played very well). Both teams coaches had their players going all out. |

Is there anywhere to watch the replay of the GC game yesterday?

1st amendment sports if you want to pay $20 |
| The experience these girls had playing at Georgetown Stadium was something to remember. The stands were packed - something you rarely see at girls' high school lacrosse. For SJC, many former lax players were there supporting their team (what up Stella Shea, Harvard '27), families, alumni and friends on both sides. Very young laxer girls with GC t-shirts on cheering them on the lady Falcons. Spirit bands on both sides. SJC ran out of steam, but the fans were excited for those girls to have gotten this far for the first time in program history. Lots of sad faces, but they should revel in the moment. GC is exceptional - hands down (and no i don't need any back and forth on the coach or how they play or how they recruit or any of it). But, it was a great day for girls' sports. As a parent initially there to see the boys game, it was so great to see the girls front and center. And to think that girls on both of those rosters in the class of '24 will see one another again next season at the college level. Hail to women in sports! The '24 talent was exceptional on both sides. |
GC also had many alums that are current collegiate players in the stands, not sure why you only singled out SJC? |

Don't feed the trolls looking to stir things up.
BI vs PVI and Potomac vs Collegiate today in the VISAA championships. Winners likely play SSAS and STAB respectively Thursday. SJC and Visi are likely heading for a rematch Sunday in the DCSAA championship. |
| What an awesome experience to play at GU. I hope all of them enjoyed a very cool experience from both sides! |
looks like the post was written by a non-GC parent so he/she would not have known if anyone was a GC alum. |
Big if true |
| Pvi over BI 15-11 |
| Potomac over Collegiate |
How could BI lose to PVI? How does that happen? If correct, that is a huge win for PVI. Devistating and embarrassing loss for BI. |
