people are suffering because normal life is shut down. We cannot and should not shut down society for years on end because of a virus with a one-half of one percent fatality rate concentrated among older individuals. If you want to distance, go ahead and do so, but let other people make their own risk calculations.

To the earlier poster, what's exhausting is continuing to discourage people from engaging in healthy activities with low risk, like outdoor sports, pools with distancing, etc. Part of the reason for COVID fatigue is that people weren't permitted or encouraged to engage in the safest activities, like swimming in outdoor pools. I believe in being responsible, but restricting outdoor activities crosses the line at this point in the pandemic.

I am encouraging my circle of friends and informing them of vaccination openings because I'm hoping that everyone is fully vaccinated by May. It looks like we will meet that so we will be able to have parties again, of course limited to vaccinated people and within the CDC guideline and Moco gathering restriction. I'm excited to have some normalcy after a year of this.
