Someone asked earlier if non-athletes get into ivies at landon. The answer is yes. Two sons there--both got into ivies, no sports except what would qualify as club sports at the admitting school. In other words, they were accepted for other reasons.

I know teachers at my kids' school (private, co-ed in MD) that are loved by some parents and are abhored by others. Saying you can't stand a teacher at one school...or that a group can't....really doesn't mean anything. My daughter's 3rd grade teacher was a total waste, in my opinion and others, however, in the opinion of others--she was better than sliced bread. Go figure.
