My kid’s HS aged ECNL team has 17 players and they’re never short players. More than 18 is silly unless your coach is overtraining all of them and making them prone to injuries. Same back in the day when I played. This ain’t the pros folks.

I do no more than 22-23 in my HS team. All very high caliber. Over a handful of them committed. Half of those commits are juniors this year. I might have to max out the roster though because there seems to be an influx of girls I hadn’t seen before.
