I could see why sometimes that might make sense, but the way they do it, it doesn't fit or add anything and comes across more as some type of odd humblebrag.

This is a whole category of annoying posters. The Executive wife, the doctor's wife, the BigLaw wife. My favorite is actually the SAH wife of a doctor who posted about a nurse practioner being foolish for wanting more respect.

That thread was about how NPs did the same work as doctors and how they should be paid the same. Or doctor training should be shortened. And doctors of nursing should be doctors too. The whole thread was ridiculous.

Agreed to some extent, but that lady was over-the-top commenting about medical school training specifics on the basis that her DH is a doctor and he and his colleagues make fun of an NP at social functions.

I actually told DH about that thread. He is a physician. He has a PA who is such a know it all. She annoys everyone. She just has an annoying personality though. Don’t think it has anything to do with the fact that she is a PA. She acts like she is better than the NPs and residents. She likes to point out mistakes and make people look bad. No one likes to be around her.

Anonymous wrote:"Good grief"! That poster/posters. I always think of Charlie Brown. I don't know anyone in real life who uses that phrase.

I do! And I adore that person IRL. If this is the worst thing, then I’d give them a pass.

I use “good grief.” I hope you are talking about me!

Gold digger OP whose husband didn't put her name on the house.

Guy with the awful wife and teen daughter.

There have been a few others who will post about how awful their marriage is over and over but never actually take any advice.

I was coming here to say that.

That said, I never spot that it is the same person back again and am impressed when others do.

The “must be ADHD” posters. Not everyone has it!

Plus the "have you had your thyroid checked" poster(s).

The thyroid posting is a strange thing to be worked up about

The person who always responds, “Cool story, bro.”

Or simply “Nice try, Troll.”

What annoys me is when people can identify another poster simply by their writing ✍🏼 style‼️
Creepy!

Or when people call another poster “obsessed.”

Without knowing the true definition of the word.

Anonymous wrote:Second marriage lady who keeps posting about how controlling her DH is with money but hasn't worked in forever and won't do anything about it. She also keeps wanting stuff to be in her name. It is clear the DH intends to keep her on a stipend and give the bulk of his millions to his kids, but she doesn't stop trying....

He also recent adopted a HUGE female puppy, like a Saint Bernard type (can't remember the specific breed) without her permission.

She HATES the dog, keeps it confined to a crate 14 hours a day with no access to food, water or going potty and is verbally abusive to the dog, while she does nothing, nothing, nothing all day.

Oh, and he refuses to show her his will.

Sounds like he loves the puppy far more than he loves the wife.

People who bump ancient threads to give advice to the OP. And the others who comment on said zombie thread without looking at dates.

The folks that point this out are on my peeve list. Clearly the person bumping it found the topic interesting. New advice might be helpful for them if they are in a similar position. You don’t have to participate.
