They are married and it's their money. Just like any married couple. If it was a SAHM and the spouse was employed it's still "their" money. They have a lot of money, so obviously the monthly amount is going to be larger. It's all calculated by a percentage. Lesson learned for her, he was probably using her all along.

They are divorced and she is giving her money to him monthly … money she earns outside of the marriage.

He was her ‘manager’. It’s the same argument SAHMs use to say they’ve reduced their earning potential for the family, well he literally did that by taking on no other long-term clients but Kelly. Then she fired him. So she has to pay.
