Can't wait to watch Amazing Race again! Been waiting far too long!

Holdernesses will probably add some interest, I think they're pretty funny. Remains to be seen if they will be adequate contestants.

I thought a few of their videos were funny but then I noticed a strange look of desperation in their eyes. I don't think they enjoy what they do. In fact, they might be prisoners in their own home being forced to generate banal YT content for some shady private equity firm that decided kidnapping/blackmailing/exploiting "influencers" was a winning strategy.

Given that they were previously broadcasters, transitioning to being independent content makers / consultants seems to me like a logical career transition, especially since local TV broadcasters make notoriously little money.

Since, they've hitched their wagon to the Youtube star they might as well try to get more exposure through going on the Amazing Race. I haven't watched for years, but why not.

I love TAR too & can't wait for it to return!

These folks are always upbeat and cheery in their videos. It will be interesting to see how they are under stress, when they miss a flight, are cold, can't find the pitstop etc.

I know this is a joke, but I actually agree that there is a bit of desperation that comes through. Like they try to be cheerful and breezy, but you can just feel that they are counting every follower/view and are desperate to have the video go viral so they can hang onto their sponsors

They make bank. Not sure they are worried anymore than Tesla is worried about sales.

They just seem desperate for attention and exposure any way they can get it. No doubt they applied for every single reality tv show they could find.

I think they’re going to bring a lot of viewers to the Amazing Race. I seriously haven’t watched it since my now 11 yo was a baby, and I’m excited for the upcoming season. I love the Holderness family!!

I love the Holderness family! Many of their videos are pretty funny. They are wholesome enough to watch with my children.

I've never watched the Amazing Race, but I plan to tune in to watch them. I heard them say on their podcast that it starts in Jan. (Yes, I confess that I listen occasionally to their podcast. )

AR has a dedicated plane now so probably not much chance of missing flights this season

I was really looking forward to watching them in the Amazing Race tonight but apparently FIOS has temporarily cancelled the CBS channel. Grrr. I guess I can stream it online on the CBS app, right?
