Your CEO probably makes billions. That’s who needs to bail you out. |
| Hid chocolate and ice cream in the guest house freezer and my kids have no idea. |
I’m smiling thinking about some of my students being stuck at home with their parents. No, I know he doesn’t just act like that at school. Reap what you sow.
|
Where dii ask for a bailout? I just want my friends to stop saying I deserve to lost my job. |

I confess that I am jealous of all the teachers who don't have young children at home.
I confess that considering recent reports, I'm terrified that I'll die from this (age 42, overweight, high BP, asthma). |
I can live with losing my job. I can't live with the hostility. |
I feel the same way. Plus, no need to look “presentable” to interact with others. |
AA is not going to use bailout money for a stock buyback. That’s something you do when you are flush with cash, not when you have a cash flow problem. - Senior management at a large travel company, not AA. |
I'm sorry- my DH works in aerospace and it's awful right now. I think people who are gleeful do not realize the destructive economic impact to our nation's economy if the aviation and aerospace industry was to collapse. I get why people dislike these industries and expect that on the other side, they will be better behaved, but letting them bankrupt-- that's a really bad idea. |
you have that in writing? what did the airlines just do with the billions in cash they've been sitting on....stock buybacks. why would the airlines behave any differently than the banks did in 2008/9? did these companies suddenly develop a moral compass in the last few weeks? |
you need new friends. |
It's not just them. I mean, yeah, I should get off social media so I dont have to see the hate, but I live alone, so... Aviation was my life. For 30 years. Having it taken away is crushing. |
