Any update on St. Bart's?

Now to face the 2 tiered pricing problem. Ridiculous that some parents are not carrying their weight.

Let's take one evening to just be happy. (Says a parent paying the higher price.)

Let's celebrate the fact that our beloved school is staying open. Hopefully other families will have read this thread and know how dedicated we are to St. Bart's. The $$ details will get ironed out!

It's a short victory until the tiered tuition is handled. Otherwise, resentment will prevail.

Is the entire steering committee privy to the financial aid/tiered tuition allocations? This seems like information that should be kept confidential.

Please explain the tiered tuition situation. Is it just that some families are receiving financial aid? Doesn't that contribute to the diversity that everyone is lauding? Doesn't that help Catholic families who have a lot of kids? I know - the budget has to get balanced somehow.

Enjoy the moment and don’t be a fun sponge

No parents were given 2 choices of tuition. The full cost of education or a lower amount for some reason. Anyone that could not afford those options were directed to financial aid through the ADW.

Interesting! So, does the higher amount reflect the true cost of education at the school given the current enrollment numbers? And the lower cost is perhaps more in line with last's year's tuition rates? Explain more! I've never heard of any other school doing this. Is it an appeal to conscience?

It is another example of poor leadership. Which looks to be in this process of correcting. For some reason the steering committee set up a pay what you wish format with no vetting for need. It's absurd. Financial aid is a separate entity.

Are you saying that previously there was no vetting for need? Yikes.

Whoever you are can you please stop.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The majority of the school is celebrating tonight. We are moving forward and will be stronger than ever. If you are this miserable please do us all a favor and just schedule a meeting with the leadership and address your concerns or find another school to torture
