Np. Actually, this would not have been an issue had she wanted this. |
Whoever you are, PP, I like you. |

^^^ her 1/2 sister Raiyah did.

| I feel very little for her since she decided to marry the troll of a man knowing he had multiple concubines. However, I do hope she enjoys her affair b/c it sounds like she has been through the wringer |
"The pair married on 7 July 2020 in the United Kingdom with the permission of King Abdullah II". See this little problem here? Raiyah is also already 35 years old and probably other suitable, multiple wives collecting rich kings might not have been interested in her, especially with all the negative publicity going on. Don't forget that Haya's marriage was an incredibly advantageous connection for her brother. Jordan is the second poorest country in the world while Dubai is the third richest country in the world. For all we know, this could have been an arranged marriage by her brother - Haya was the perfect cash cow. |
It was 2020. She could have come to America and shouted her story to the world if she was being forced into a marriage and she’d light on this issue. |
Are you positive?! Then, hello King of Jordan! Do you have any additional dirt for us? We love to bash our families here, on DCUM, especially around typical American holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, so you are very timely. Please feel free to share your grievance, we've heard it all before. |
Don't be silly. Haya was one of the multiple offspring of an obscure, poor Middle Eastern country. Her half-brother, himself half British, educated in Britain and conceived out of wedlock, doesn't care who she married - he has his hands full stuffing his coffers and protecting the futures of his own children to care about his half-sister. If Haya wanted to marry an affluent Jordanian (or non-Jordanian!) based in London or any European country or indeed anywhere else, he'd probably sigh, alhamdulillah, one more off the payroll. He's not the type to mind who she marries, and he certainly is not in any position to mount a global manhunt should she marry someone REALLY objectionable. We aren't shaming her body, we're shaming her judgment. She can certainly afford clothing in her correct size rather than bulge out of whatever she's got on. However her husband looks, she married him voluntarily and enthusiastically. |
He had concubines too, in all likelihood, but he also had several legal full wives, including Sheikha Hind, the first lady of Dubai and mother of his twelve children, who has the family by the balls. |
Abdullah is not the type to mind who his half sisters marry. While he was no doubt pleased about the promise of increased Emirati investment in his poor country, Haya jumped on the proposal with great gusto. The Sheikh wanted an educated wife to accompany him in the West and mingle with the right people at Ascot and the likes. Haya wanted...well we all know what she wanted, let's not forget that while she got $700 M in the settlement, she asked for $1.8 billion, which the judge smacked down. |
Actually one of Queen Noor’s daughters recently married the grandson of Roald Dahl, and another princess also married a Western man. The foreign spouses convert to Islam but that’s about it. Haya could have done the same if she chose. |
| “Permission” is a formality. There are almost a dozen offspring in that family born between the 4 wives of King Hussein and it is a viper’s pit. Abdullah would only be too delighted if all his half-siblings fell off the face of the earth, especially Noor’s sons. Haya married for money and status since she never had a mother to look out for her in that family. |
| I believe the Queen of England’s children and grandchildren need her permission to marry? |
But that is extremely sad. She is a human, not a business asset! |
What a misogynist you must be! LITERALLY blaming her for being at risk for femicide! |
