He needs to be destroyed. Ruined. His adult criminal kids, too, or this will happen again. |
Exactly. None of this, “we need to move on and heal”. There has to be a consequence. Not just for Trump, but for all complicit parties. |
"protracted criminal conduct" = NY state RICO Up to 25 years in prison and a fine of double whatever was gained through the criminal enterprise. I wonder what Ivanka will wear for her perp walk? |
We have to win the election or he’ll find a way to wiggle out of this somehow, too. Of course given the speed of his dementia, he’s going to be slobbering in a chair in a year or so. |
As long as you're cool with reprisals for the next democratic president? |
NP. I would accept an agreement not to charge Trump with 25 years of RICO crimes in exchange for him divesting his entire business and retiring to a golf course in South Dakota or wherever. I'm not sure everyone would though. |
If the next President and members of his cabinet, families, and appointees commit crimes, then yes, they should be punished as well. It’s not reprisals, it’s justice. |
We have to be cool with it. It happens with every POTUS. The other party does everything they can to destroy them. That's the game. |
Actually there weren’t enough consequences for Nixon which is why we are in this mess. |

Just like we believe Clinton or whoever should be punished for any Epstein shenanigans, any dem president should pay for his crimes. Why is this so hard for repugs to grasp? |
I agree. I'm for any president or politician going to prison for the longest possible time if they lie, cheat, steal, or subordinate our country to an enemy. No matter what party. Does anyone happen to know if the Teapot Dome Scandel caused a generation of politicians to be more honest? Secretary of the Interior Albert Fall went to prison. I hope the current Cabinet suffers greatly for their collective failure to act in the interest of the public trust. Oh wait. There are only two O.G.s in the Trump Cabinet. Imagine that. |
That's the beauty of it. State charges - he can't pardon, commute, etc. |

According to the boots on the ground, the rescuers themselves, Benghazi was an unsupported mission by American government, who allowed four men to die, including a US Ambassador. There would have been more casualties had our men not been rescued by LIBYAN FORCES. Then the Obama administration blamed it on a video and jailed the filmmaker, resulting in him becoming homeless. But “What difference does it make” |
