2020-2021 Proposed Calendar Options

Not sure what you're talking about. In 2021, Inauguration Day is Wednesday. MLK Day is that Monday, and there's no school that day as usual.

Sorry thank you for the clarification, I meant we will take from Friday-Wednesday off (if we get the Inauguration holiday). Tuesday would be the only day the kids would need a note.

They just voted to adopt the superintendent's recommendation, so there will be school on Inauguration Day. Dixon was the only one who said they supported having Inauguration Day off, but she voted for the recommendation anyway. O'Neill asked that schools have the inauguration shown on TV during the school day and that lessons be created for teachers to incorporate.
