Can some Spirit parents tell us about the email they got today about the club transferring their youth teams to two other clubs and exiting DA all together?

Area ECNL teams seems stable … for now. Not sure I'd touch DA with a 10 foot pole. Loudoun might make out like a bandit with this FCV news. Even if a few scared top notch Loudoun-based FCV DA players jump ship, that's enough to help.

Kids are traveling from 100+ miles away to play in BDA and GDA. Not an issue for the top of the top.

Yeah because its so easy to get to Springfield during rush if your coming from outside the beltway.
But, hey whats another 60 - 90 minutes round trip.

Some people don’t know what traffic is around here. People will leave FCV. Many won’t do that trip 4 times a week.

Couple of comments on this.
A) Really great presentation. Miles more comprehensive than anything I've seen at other clubs. I know it is only on paper, but very well-though out.

B) the GROWTH MINDSET slide ... is that for players or coaches? (ha, joke - but from my experience players are a lot more like the left side while coaches are more like the right side ... i.e. some self-introspection by our paid adults could be valuable).

Anyhow - thanks for sharing. If we were anywhere close to VDA we'd give it serious consideration.
