Special counsel Mueller has no sealed indictments as Russia probe ends: NBC News

Special counsel Robert Mueller has concluded his investigation and will not file any more indictments in connection with his inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign, NBC News reported on Friday, citing a senior U.S. law enforcement official.
There are no sealed indictments.
It is possible that leads uncovered during the special counsel's inquiry and handed off could lead to charges brought by state prosecutors or other parts of the Department of Justice.

Wasn't the speculation always that the really big stuff would be passed off to state prosecutors to prevent Trump from pardoning everyone?

Democrats shot themselves in the foot. Mueller had 2 years and tons of money and found nada.

Good luck taking Trump down now. If you go for the king you better not miss. They missed.

Have you not noticed what's going on in SDNY?

What is going on? Tell me, please. Link, please. Many links, please.

I am so embarrassed for you right now. Are you seriously that ignorant about what happens in your country?

Ya, ya, I'm ignorant, stupid, you name it. So post the links for us dumb ones, pretty please!

Here’s a life tip for you. There’s this site called Google. If you go to the bar at the top of your page where is says www.dcurbanmom.com, delete the www.dcurbanmom.com part and type in www.google.com. That will take you to Google. Google has a bar in the middle of its page where you can type in anything you want and it will search the Internet for information about the things you typed. It’s magic!

Look up 'confirmation bias'.

That's an awful lot to casually shrug off. Just as it's a mind boggling stretch to say "nothingburger" about the 34 indictments. Nor is it a "political hit job" when numerous actual felonies have been established. Russia isn't actually the one and only thing that matters here. There's a clear pattern of gross corruption all around Trump.

Most therapists don't work over the weekend.

So cruel to file this Friday pm.

I doubt the sincerity of someone who not only takes no interest in educating themselves generally, but who can’t even be bothered reading the thread he’s posted in. Plus, I’m not his monkey, he is fully capable of answering the question himself, he just doesn’t because he’s lazy and doesn’t have any interest in knowing.

+1. Especially since we've been stuck in "anger" mode since January of 2017.

Nah. Real Americans who care about the country are organizing and canvassing and getting organized for 2020, so they can continue the massive avalanche of votes for Dems in 2018 and repeat it through 2020.

The only way Republicans win another national election is through electoral theft - of the kind they deployed in GA and FL in 2018. (Stacey Abrams is the real governor and Nelson and Gillum are the real FL Sen and governor. Without GOP voter suppression, none of those candidates would have won.)

Oh, honey. We see that you're still in the "denial" phase, which seems to be slightly crossing into "delusional."

Signed,

Armchair shrink who is happy to take on some of these cases over the weekend

You mean since a certain day November 2016.

I feel truly sad for those people gone/ going crazy. After all they are our neighbors and coworkers and compatriots.

They may need some kind of AAA meetings and support to get over this and survive the next 5 years.

It was about one thing - taking down Trump. In any way possible. Many of you are still hopeful this will happen. It's sad really.

And, this whole thing makes me angry. Many innocent people have had their lives upended, their financial situations destroyed and their reputations ruined all because there were some people, in high places, who were unhappy at the outcome of the election.
I hope those who promoted this investigation and caused incredible harm to many people will be held accountable. Eventually.
Beginning with Comey.

So you think the crimes of someone like Manafort should have been ignored?

It have been ignored by Obama's administration for 8 years. He was finally prosecuted under Trumps administration. Trump promised to drain the swamp and he delivered it.

Many more have been killed by gun violence, or died because healthcare in this country is too expensive. The USA is the richest country in the world, yet has the worst maternal death rate of any developed country.

You were talking about innocent lived upended? Those you are talking about are not innocent. They are corrupt and have ridden the coat-tails of someone they knew to be amoral, abusive, divisive and dishonest. A narcissistic bully that takes pleasure in fighting dirty and hitting below the belt... even against a war hero who has passed away.

I agree with you on the probable absence of proven collusion, though. It is entirely possible that his unpresidential and clownish thoughts are merely his filterless and childish emotions of the moment.

This person is morally and mentally unfit to be President. The 25th amendment has the answer, but it will never happen.
