Will you change clubs this Summer and why?

The fascination with Barca is purely from the parents and not the kids. These are grown adults who follow european soccer and attack the club as if it were Messi scoring the final goal against they beloved Real Madrid, Man U, "fill in the blank" team. Attacking the kids just because they share the same shield is just a way for them to get a kick out of it.

Villarreal is a pro club with a partnership with Annandale, but yet no one attacks. No worries, I hated the Bulls in the 90s and the Patriots today. Not sure i would go to the lengths you folks do to attack kids sporting their jerseys.

The poster was trying to make sense of why everyone attacks Barca academy, it's like the new VYS/BRYC. Youth soccer punching bag, I can see his/her point about hatred for the pro team has influenced the perception of the youth academy here. Not fare, but I can see the point.

More nonsense from the Barca duo. I am a Barca fan, and have not said, and would not say, one bad thing about any kids at any clubs. I am just fed up with the duo's blatant propaganda and faked outrage.

PPA is rapidly improving..I'd say the top PPA teams that I've seen are about at Bethesda's third level or so.

I think we are taking our Ds over too Braddock Road for next year. Loved our club this year but our TD moved on. I think we will try the ECNL for a year and see if its for us. Its so hard to choose whats the right fit. We literally have 8 clubs in our area that are all doable as far as distance goes.

I'm genuinely interested to know what the TD at LMVSC was doing for these teams he wasn't coaching that's making everyone want to leave. Our TD is never around our team and frankly, that's for the best.

What age groups at BRYC are you looking at? I'm considering the same for my DD. Heard the younger age groups are a nightmare but the older ones doing ECNL (except 2005) seem safe. Have they said who is coaching the teams next year?

Damn. Where do you live that you have 8 clubs that close?

I live close-in and there is just one gigantic one. The rest are too far in rush hour. It sucks if you arent happy because it is a monopoly.

Living in Arlington (Rosslyn) those are all too far. 395/95 south is a beast in the evenings. Even PAC practices all the way out off Gallows. ASA is the only one feasible. Stoddert might actually be closer.
