Like celebrity baby names much? I'm guessing your Violet isn't older than Violet Garner-Affleck, and Hazel isn't older than Julia Roberts' daughter.

So I think you need to go with either Olive, Apple, Luna, or Ava.

It’s weird you know what celebrities name their kids?

Both Hazel and Violet are fairly popular in my circle and it has nothing to do with what a random celebrity has named their kid.

If she named her kid Suri, sure, yeah I’d say it was influenced at least.

You may know nothing about pop culture, but other people do, and the fact that Hazel and Violet are popular in your circle has *everything* to do with the fact that celebrities have used the names.

Since Jennifer Garner named her child Violet in 2005, the name has gone from the 584th most popular name in 2004 to 369th the next year to 48th in 2017. Likewise, since 2004 when Julia Roberts named her daughter Hazel, it has gone up from 681st to 43rd. Ava, now the third most popular name for girls, was 259th when Reese Witherspoon named her daughter.
