Are "Nature's Promise" products safe?

I just tried the Garden Vegetable Bowl. One pea. False advertising. The chicken tablespoon was better suited for Nature's Promise pet products. Very disappointed.

You resurrected a thread from August 2009. Why don't you go to the Giant website and ask their office of consumer affairs & marketing?

http://www.naturalnewswire.com/2004/10/giant_introduce.html

And the organic spinach I have in my freezer that is a Nature's Promise product says "Product of California", it is not from China. Why are you spreading hysteria about Chinese organic products when you do not know the facts?

The eggs come from PA and are indeed cage free, just by looking at the coding on the carton you can figure this out. Nature's Promise gets its eggs from the Sauder's Packing plant in PA (from a code on the cartons; that code matches to a plant in the world. They are not a battery cage operation & Paul Sauders, purchases the majority of his eggs from Rosenberry's farm (also in PA I believe) who is strictly cage free.

Do some research rather than make assumptions. Really, milk from China? How do they get it here in time for it to have a shelf life of several weeks?

4/28/18: bought Nature’s Promise frozen organic spinach- since I know spinach to be one of the most pesticide contaminated vegetables when grown conventionaly.
# 1: One third if what I took out of the bag for supper was stems! - aka, waste. These were not just st stems attached to the leaves, but had actually been cut off at some point and added to a he leaf mix; they were from 2-4 inches long.
#3: The bag states that it is a product from China - not Canada! Someone please tell me what is possibly organic in China!
#3: And, is shipped frozen? - seems like a lot of wasted energy to me

I have been given direction by my Dr. to go to a completely non-GMO (Genetically manipulated organisms, i.e. no Monsanto incorporated pesticides in our food) diet. After 40 years of eating (what I thought was) a completely healthy diet (my parents are both medical professionals) of fresh fruits, veggies, lean meats, etc., I have come down with diverticulitis; a nasty digestive condition. My Dr. said it looked like I'd been eating fatty, red meat 3 times a day for 20 years.....not a chance in &^%$ of that. Also a major side effect of GMO altered foods. At this point, I'm growing my own veggies, shopping exclusively at local Farmer's Markets and basically becoming a pseudo-vegetarian as a result of 80% of our food supply being tainted for the last 20 years with "Round-Up" pesticide being incorporated into our food supply with no FDA regulation, labeling or disclosure. Not that the FDA is accountable either. Watch your ballots in November for a GMO-labled foods divestiture choice....we NEED it. Problem is, the current head of the FDA is a former Monsanto Exec....not exactly a comforting thought. The original thought was to change, at the cellular/DNA level, a plant's ability to repel pesticides, provide higher yielding crops, etc........which failed miserably. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetically_modified_food. Do the research yourself...ever wonder why so many people are allergic to glutens and peanuts, etc.? Never even heard of it growing up....now Iknow why.

This happened to me also. Serious digestive problems and diverticulitis, GERD, Acid-Reflux, you name it. From that came C-Diff which took me to the hospital for a week on poisonous super-anti-biotics, (Cpro, Flagil) and I almost died (Dr. told me that the condition I had was serious and could die from it; they would do their best to save me!!!) I'm posting here mainly to tell everyone to read labels. Nature's Promise products "can be" good, but you have to read the ingredients, for example, I bought their "organic" waffles and when I got them home I noticed they were made with CANOLA OIL!! This is POISON! Canola oil is a oil they produced to use on machines in factories; it's cheaply made from the "Rapeseed plant" which is a totally modified GMO plant! Nothing organic about it! Please research Canola Oil and avoid it at all costs!

I refrigerate natures promise organic baby food and now its too cold. Would heating this product be safe for my baby

Realization... always read those ingredients! Bought Nature's Promise free from toothpaste thinking it was safe.
Read, read, read ingredients! Carrageenan is not a safe ingredient!
Has been know to cause inflammation in the intestines which in the long
run sets your body up for other not so good intestinal issues...and what was
that Promise? My bad that I didn't read but their bad for putting something in
our toothpaste that is a known health concern!

I live in an area with a lot of local farms and farmers markets, and guess what, nothing is organically grown, as a matter of fact all of it is GMO as they have taken over the entire farming industry! Even at the small farm I buy my eggs from I am sure the chickens are fed regular chicken feed which contains GMO corn. I agree with the comments above, you do the best you can! I buy Nature's Promise chicken all of the time. Even though it's not the best, it is certainly not the worst, and it is affordable. Any difference you can make will force more and more companies to try to go Organic!

Holy shit! I have been buying it. Thanks for posting

Are you fully organic or not?
