| One of the eaglets has really been flapping its wings this morning. They're now 9 weeks old and fledge between 10-14 weeks. I wonder if next week will be its fledge week! |
| One baby eagle is right on the verge of take off - it flew out of the nest and onto the branch a minute ago! |
Spying on these guys this evening is awesome - they are jumping up and down spreading their wings - I predict take off within 48 hours!!
|
| They gone. |
I just tuned in from vacation and they're both gone. ? I missed it. Does that mean they're not coming back? |
Only one fledged today and could come back to the nest for a short time. The second one is high on a limb adjacent to the nest. |
|
Both cams are currently showing the silhouette of one perching on a high branch looking over the city - beautiful.
|
| Has one of them left? I can only see one on Cam B right now. |
Liberty seems so lonely. He didn't even eat any of the fish mom brought after Freedom fledged earlier this evening. Almost like he is in shock that Freedom left. |
| One cam is actively looking for Freedom this morning. Liberty is back in the nest after one of the parents brought some fish. |
Apparently Liberty moved up to a high perch near the nest in view of where Freedom was perched so the two could watch each other! |
| Before he jumped back into the nest this morning, mom (of dad) was in there poking around and digging into the bed, as if trying to hide the fish. Are they trying to teach the youngster to find food? |
Looks like Freedom is back and eating, while Liberty is chillin' up on a branch
