Synagogue attack near Detroit

If our founding fathers were alive today, and they were able to see the corruption surrounding the who, how, and why State designates FTOs, SDGTs, and SSTs, they would probably view our American experiment as a massive failure.

I know many believe that these designations are made either by god himself or else by sober men and women whose judgement is definitely not affected by personal views or foreign influences, but the truth is pretty ugly.

When will Israel learn that bombing innocent people and murdering whole families creates more radicalized people?

What if this man's family was actually part of Hezbollah?????

How did an immigrant with blood relatives in Hezbollah get into the US and become a naturalized citizen?

I’m as liberal as they come, but this is baffling.

That’s my point!! Liberal here too but this is a bad look.
Can we please have ICE round up these folks instead?
No terrorist sympathizers.

Thanks, Trump!

That’s sad. Obviously he wasn’t a trained terrorist.

Yes, so very sad. That poor, poor man who drove a car full of explosives into a synagogue hoping to kill as many Jews as possible.

Do you know anything about Lebanese politics? Most Lebanese Shias are connected in some way to Hezbollah.

Np.
Then none of these people should be in our country. Sorry.. We need to kick them out.

We do not harbor terrorists. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. Hopefully ICE gets on that.

ICE? Most are citizens and have been for decades.

First of all, this guy deserves condemnation from everyone. Regardless his motivations, attempting to harm innocent non-combatants is unequivocally wrong.

Having said that, I guess we have to add to the list of words that no longer possess any meaning.

Terrorist sympathizers?

Posters here have labelled a “terrorist sympathizer” anyone who is sickened by our slaughter of 180+ little girls and teachers.

They have labelled a “terrorist sympathizer” anyone who thinks our government should acknowledge and take accountability for slaughtering those 180+ girls and teachers.

They have also labelled a “terrorist sympathizer” anyone who thinks that, whether we like it or not, our adversaries have the same right to defend themselves that we demand for ourselves.

Our government owes us accountability and representation. We don’t owe our government blind, unconditional praise.

His kids died in Lebanon. I don’t blame him. His The media is using the generic term “family members”.

This makes my blood boil.

Both the synagogue attack and the ODU shooting were done by terrorists who were naturalized citizens.
The same with the Austin shooters and the NYC bombers in the past couple weeks.

This country gives a gift to these men and this is the thanks they return.

We have an immigration problem - not just illegal immigration, but legal immigration.
We are bringing in people who kill our citizens.
Something has to change.

The only positive thing about the attacks yesterday is that both of the men are dead.
Honestly, these recent attacks all deserve their own thread.
Do you have a plan for the violent American born convicts? Murders, rapes, domestic violence, mass shootings are still done by American born citizens by a large margin. Very few of these get national news coverage.

Also the crime rates in cities have gone down drastically over the last six years.

The number of crimes reported to law enforcement agencies fell at a historic clip in 2025 led by the largest one-year drop in murder ever recorded — the third straight year setting a new record — and sizable drops in reported violent and property crimes.

You can give credit to Trump for 2025:and Biden the previous two years. But this massive immigration influx did not increase the crime rate. Apparently it lowered the crime rates.

Fox News shows horrific very rare crimes but only the immigrants and people who don’t think logically will believe that’s it’s the foreigners, they’ll kill us all! It’s not.

If it’s true that his kids or loved ones were killed in Lebanon, that’s obviously very sad news. But it doesn’t excuse or justify what he apparently attempted to do here. It just doesn’t.

No, but one can understand the motivation behind it and it wouldn’t have happened if Trump hadn’t started a preposterous holy war.

Making up lies. His two brothers who were part of Hezbollah died in Lebanon becoming his kids? Lies just to gain sympathy.

Also it takes time to make explosives. Somehow this guy just had a truck full of explosives conveniently lying around just in case he wanted to take revenge?

Notice all the people who lost family in 9/11 did not start blowing up mosques. And again his kids didn’t die his terrorists brothers did.

Excusing a man for trying to kill 140 American children with no connection to a conflict thousands of miles away who was allowed to live in the US is the height of terrorist apologism. “He wouldn’t have done that if the big bad U.S. didn’t make him”. Terrorists apologists have lost their way.

They never seemed to have a way? It's why republicans keep winning elections.
