Google "moomoo clothing" and hit images. I can't believe I have to mansplain how to google. |
Actually, someone knows it had different spellings in marketing and chose the spelling that closely resembled cattle on purpose. |
I'm 5'0" and otherwise just like you and I look like my clothes are eating me alive with anything (ruffles or puff) on my shoulders. It's awful. I think it's because my shoulders are narrow. I buy a lot of used clothes. |
| My mom is a doctor and always wore cute dresses to work for as long as I can remember and she did fine. I work from home now but probably pushed the boundaries of lawyer work clothes while I was in the office. Who cares? |
You don’t have a single summer dress that you would wear to a summer barbecue or brunch with friends? Normal women do in fact occasionally do these things and it is fine to have an outfit or two to do them in. I actually wear long summery dresses grocery shopping or running errands. They’re pretty comfortable. |
Moomoo is not in dictionary.com. Mumu is. |
A dress can be cute without looking like it belongs on a prepubescent girl. Surely you can tell the difference and are just being disingenuous. My transplant doctor is Persian and wears gorgeous wrap dresses. Some are prints, but they don’t look like Mommy and Me florals. |

Do you work in a professional setting? |
“ Fashion is a powerful mode of self-expression, and I’m not trying to misrepresent myself as a goat cheese torte-wielding, yes dear-ing trad wife just because I fxxx with ruffles. And I'd venture, neither do many people with several vintage nightgowns languishing in their closet. I’m married without children—I clock in and clock out every weekday before going home to a cat I treat more like a temperamental roommate than a baby. I work for The Man, not a man. And the last thing I want is for my outfit to say the opposite of what I believe.” https://www.instyle.com/trad-wife-fashion-trend-8696104 |
There are different types of beauty and fashion. Not everyone thinks mindlessly buying what is promoted on catwalks, style blogs, and magazines each season is the only definition of fashion. |
I mean those ruffles and sleeves are ridiculous but she wore very dainty summery dresses in bright and pastel colors. So do I. |

DvF invented wrap dresses as a professional "uniform" for women. Thats not what OP is talking about. |
I do but they aren’t those flowery things with ruffled sleeves or multiple flounder tiers. And just gojng to a bbq once of those ruffled dresses seems too fancy and overdressed. Maybe you live that life where you’re regularly wearing this kind of stuff … I imagine a world of SAHMs in Savannah having brunch and barbecues and wearing these, with their hair in long loose blonde curls. |
