I am think people relate to her in different ways. People who’ve experienced racism might take her side. First children who’ve experienced the blame of a younger sibling and spouse are against them.

I’m a POC. Separately, my sibling blamed me for a lot of things that weren’t my fault. I don’t control the economy, my own parents, the job market, their decisions, etc.

So I look at these two and I think, “You were so mad at your sibling, because your sibling didn’t protect you from the press. You accused your sibling of feeding news to the press. But who actually controls the press?”

She hits a really sensitive nerve. She seems like my sister-in-law, who I also think is self-absorbed, self-centered, and a perpetual victim who would go on Oprah if she could.

All that said, the dance video is not that big of a deal.

I think the people who hate her are often those who have their own nightmare sister/daughter in law, or a sister who was a bridezilla then continued life as an all about me show, or relative/friend who publicly and nastily airs family dirty laundry, costsntly trying to portray themselves as the wronged victim. Meghan represents all of those things combined. With her constant sesrch for the spotlight, dissing on Meghan becomes therapeutic for all those who can't respond in real life to their narcissistic self absorbed nightmare family member.

Or they are just really into the royal family as an idea, and don't like her trampling on it no matter who is right or wrong.

There are many who just like to follow the royal family drama for fun, and Meghan/Harry provide loads of gossipy, eye rolling, trashy fun, in their constant very public quest for "more privacy, please"
