Trump . . . I actually like him.

The Republican Party no longer exists. I'm an ex-Republican and I support reasonable immigration control, I care about the environment, I believe in fiscal responsibility, I want reasonable gun control and I think we need to completely overhaul our healthcare system. There is no party that represents me. I think that there are many in the true middle like me. It's time for a third party.

These are such common sense "middle ground" positions. It's amazing that we don't have a party that would just focus on this.

LOL. I’m waiting for Elon to start putting $$$$ behind Dem candidates. It’s going to be epic. I will love watching MAGA fall apart.

Or how about putting money behind non-maga real republicans? MAGA should be a third party and stop polluting the republicans.

Many of us are tired of black politicians in blue cities cowtowing to illegal immigrants and crazy liberals, and only using the terms "criminal justice" when referring to us. Frankly, it's more racist than Trump how liberals (even our own!) speak to us. Most blue cities have black police officers and police chiefs and they fear the lawlessness of juvenile delinquency and migrant crime that Dems rubber stamp and promote.

Really hard to believe this.....but sure ok.

Same. “I voted for the candidate who got sued for racial housing discrimination, who is surrounded by white supremacists and affiliated with a party currently concerned with erasing black history and contributions and pushing black people out of access to jobs and education, because this one minor and oddly specific issue matters more to me”. Sure, Jan.

PS It’s “kowtowing”. “Cowtowing” happens when your cattle are parked illegally.

People in the real world don’t care about the stuff you listed. You should listen to the NY Times’ The Daily and the piece they did called “The 1,400 County Crisis for Democrats” and how every county that wasn’t rich and white went further for Trump this cycle than last and in some cases, like in The Bronx, the shift was severe. Minorities and working class folks are really, really tired of the stuff that UMC white liberals are trying to sell them.

What are you talking about? You’re a Dem. This really is head scratching. Aside from Biden’s immigration, these are all strongly Dem positions. A lot of us want immigration between Biden and Trump (roughing up people illegally). Fiscal responsibility is solidly a Dem position. You can Google it. For decades the economy and deficit have been better under Dems.

Are people really this obtuse?

The NYT is trying its damndest to fracture and sink the Dems, when a felon is dismantling our country. Any sane person would avoid their histrionic agenda rn. They used a similar circular narrative re Biden’s age. Why? Because it makes them $$$$.

NP. PP I agree but there will never be a 3rd party in the US. Politically, it doesn't work. Our system isn't set up to be more than room for 2 parties. Money from backers is key to how our campaigns are run and it limits choices. The powers that be won't allow that much choice.

I'd love to see healthcare get overhauled but again, the money in the US again will not allow it. You'd have to fight pharma, hospital admin and insurance that's 3 huge industries - no way all 3 industries allow effective changes to system parameters offering non profit healthcare which essentially is what we all hope to see. Our for profit setup is the big problem with our mess today and that is key to how it will be run.

So this is why logically, I think the US is on a slope heading down. Historically, every society after 250 yrs or so does reinventing and changing at a pretty extreme level or else it's done. That's where we are heading into next 20 yrs. The question is how we will be able to change unless we level our systems pretty drastically and how long it will take to both want to do that and for that process to complete.

The complete irony of what you just stated is what in the world would Republicans/maga do to help these people?? they’re only interested in helping themselves.

The anger and pain in this country is real. Only reasons why Trump could be elected but he's got a lot of fans exactly because so many people are sick of status quo. Not that they love Trump but they are so messed up they embrace anything new. He offers them the opposite of what we've had and he sells it enough to have people buy. It's the pain and anger to be addressed v Trump's failings that get so much attention, I think he's a gross orange slime ball too but his popularity should be the story. So much pain and hurt that will be the downfall of this country.

They’re quoting real life data. What are your comments on the data?

Again, you’re not addressing the piece or the data, just bringing up random points. The real question this brings up is why are Democrats alienating the voters they claim to represent so much that they’re willing to vote for Trump instead.

Look inward.

That’s not happening, you are just going in deeper with the kooks. It’s how cults work. Trust me, we are all still here making fun of you.

Yup-MAGA the most corrupt, hateful, and ignorant cult in American history-congrats maggots.

Why do I need to look inward? I am not a Dem strategist. It’s a simple question. What do the R’s/MAGA do to help anyone other than themselves?
