Correct. As I said at the very beginning of this thread: DMV players will never match the skills and athleticism of the Philadelphia area and Long Island players. The tried and true Baltimorons are up there, obviously, but the DC/VA close in MD, they just don't learn the best lacrosse.

Mass has more players on the top three teams than PA. PA has just two more players than the DMV on those teams. Here's the breakdown:

Total players on UNC, BC, NW:

NY = 25
Mass = 15
NJ / PA / CT = 9
MD = 7
DMV / CA = 5

Correction: PA has two more than MD teams, 4 more than DMV

This is just nonsense. "Never match the skills and athleticism". Sounds like a cartoon villain.

Current graduating class from Capital finished as the number 2 team in the US Club Lax rankings. Lots of Philly, LI, MA, etc teams in their wake. How did they beat all of them without the "best lacrosse", I wonder? Maybe it was skills and athleticism.

Capital coaching is mediocre. They have historically had the best players in the area and won off of athleticism and forcing you to train at HB.

Coaching is mediocre in the DMV. That’s the reason. Has nothing to do with athleticism. The cheesesteaks in Philly don’t provide kids extra speed.

The term ‘no grit’ is what I always hear from college coaches when talking about capital players. Say that are not hungry.
