Oh….you’ve never been there. |
wash tries so hard to include St Louis in its name and experience - presumably to give it a distinguishing feature or some gravitas? and if it's not at least near the benefits of a city, then what's left? |
It’s clear you’ve no idea what you’re talking about, which is a bright spotlight on why your views should be ignored. Should JHU, UChicago, etc. all be rejected? |
How does JHU bend over backwards to include a nearby city in the college name? UChicago fully embraces the city. Zero gripe with those or many many others with city names. wash is completely different from those as pointed out. You can crush on your beloved wash (where you said you didn't attend) all you want but it makes you look pathetically try hard. |
just to distinguish it from UWash |
Or if anyone is confused it’s in DC. St Louis is obviously nothing to brag about and much of the country doesn’t even know where it’s located - forget about being known internationally lol |
Maybe coincidence, but everyone I know who attended WashU is a weirdo. Not bad people, but just...off. Plus who wants to live in/near STL. It's a dump. Fried ravioli? Gross. |
I have and I wish I could erase it from my memories. |
| If undergraduate is a setup for graduate school, it doesn’t matter; all are fine and it matters more how well you do. If you’re one degree and done, it may depend on the occupational goal and preferred region of the country. If he wants to go to NYC, an Ivy would be better because most places are biased toward their regional schools. If Chicago is the goal, Wash U would be great. |
You sound very bitter, should get out some more |
☠️ |
I travel frequently. You have no idea what you are talking about. |
| Lots of dummies on this thread. |
Obviously you don’t. And traveling frequently clearly didn’t make you less bitter |
NP- good, travel to a therapist’s plz |
