Where can I find unbiased news?

I subscribe to the WSJ. It’s the best source I’ve found.

I used to read NYT and WaPo but stopped could no longer trust them and they commingled opinion and news reporting too much for my liking. I have no problem with an editorial, just label it as such don’t smuggle it into the news.

Fox is hit or miss as well and too simplistic.

It's not the news. It's your own skill in critical reasoning.

I’m not a big podcast listener, but stumbled across this one and listen to it on my commute home every day now. I speed it up 1.25 so it goes even faster and it’s still completely understandable. She recently monetized it so there are ads, but you can skip them pretty easily.

I have to say I have found this to be a manageable source of information. Like so many people, I find the headlines overwhelming, even when I try to get them from multiple sources to balance each other out.

Listening to this podcast makes me feel like I’m at least keeping up in a basic manner. She doesn’t purport to cover global news, but for me, it’s a better than complete avoidance!

Is this some sort of joke?

Many Al Jazeera reporters are known terrorists. Note: I am not saying “terrorist sympathizers,” they are actual members of designated terrorist organizations. Here are some of their names:

Yes, real journalists, who are not doing it for "entertainment" and have a shred of empathy might start unbiased, or in the middle, but they don't stay there.

Progress is GOOD. Being a progressive is a human value. The news covers PEOPLE and people want empathy for their challenges. That alone makes most people, who are not rich white men, lean left.

its not about white men. its that the US government has completely abandoned service on both a federal and local level. I'm a a brown hijabi- why are the local city councils voting on BDS? they should be figuring out how to fix potholes, get our kids a better education and make palatable lunch. the fact that school lunches are so disgusting and the play grounds a disaster is more important than foreign policy, especially to the BOE. We just started a short expat stint and while there are some things that are very difficult- its easy to see that EU countries' systems function, that there is functioning local governance even if it does take some figuring out how to throw away your trash but pretty. much every municiality in the USA is a victim of poor governance. the old axiom that all politics is local has been completely destroyed, Mayor Bowser shoudl be worried about the 1/10 kids going to bed hungry in her city and leave the Sudanese to the WFO.

- it’s about all the cisgender white males.

Once we marginalize them, all will be fine. Trust me.

More bias media today reporting on the MSG rally as fascism… you make just a couple references to “Nur für Deutsche” and you’re maligned as “Nazis”! You need unbiased news like OANN to cover what really matters… that Puerto Rico is one big pile of garbage.

Right? All we want is some unbiased reporting that will present both sides without editorializing in the form of fact-checking or context, and while we're at it, we need to "fact check" in a way that presents Democrats in as bad a light as possible and gives as much leeway as possible to Republicans. If you don't find an equal number of problems on both sides, you're clearly biased, because the two parties are exactly the same.

Need an independent source on this. Not “Israeli military”.

The Washington Post is a pro-Hamas mouthpiece.

+1. I find WaPo unreadable from bias. NYT is ridiculous.

They also have a tab called "blind spot" so you can see when the left or right are not covering a news story at all. This is my attempt to add a photo 🤞

This sounds very interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!

You should try it. We did, and we love it.

Does it broadcast anything other than breathless hyperbolic right wing conspiracy theories?
