There is also a chart showing how far sources lean. I usually look at foxnews, nytimes and bbc and then call it a day.

If you look at fox you are stupid

I do not regularly consume anything from Fox News. But, the their news coverage (the limited amount that remains) is reasonably fair. What they choose to cover vs not cover is blatantly biased.

You have to get into the OANN and Newsmax realms to have propaganda masquerading as news.

Certainly there are ways to consume Fox News that don’t make you stupid.

There is no unbiased news. There is only YOU.

You need to read and/or watch center-left and center-right sources of news and opinions. You need to distinguish between the newsroom, the editorial board and the opinion columns - and their equivalent onscreen. I subscribe to WSJ, NYT and WaPo, and I look at BBC News online and some European and Asian news sites.

And you need to have enough common sense and a basic knowledge of world history to not fall into jingoistic and nationalist traps. As an international who has lived in many countries on different continents, I cannot emphasize this enough. A lot of people only perceive what goes on in their area of their country and do not think about or understand how the rest of the world works. They are particularly vulnerable to populist demagogues.

Seriously? NPR and WaPo ??

You are making a joke, right?

I challenge you right now. Go the front pages of NPR and WaPo, read the headlines and articles, and show me the bias.

I bet you can't, but I'll check back in to see.

NP here.
Both of those outlets hate Trump and hate the modern Republicans party.
I do to… but this media bias is not hidden by any stretch.

What was it 98% of the media shows trump in a bad light? It was close to 100%.

If you show the facts about Trump, it will look bad because he is bad

Right. How can you report him in a positive light? His concise speeches? His good choice in food? His nice outfits? His philanthropy? None of that exists. You can’t even do the typical positive fluff about him. Sure, it was annoying to hear about every burger Obama had in DC, but Trump doesn’t even eat burgers unless they’re from fast food!

I mean, what is there positive to report on him? He has a nice looking jet? People like his golf courses? I mean, come on.

If you want unbiased news, try NewsMax. We love NewsMax. It’s just news.

You should try it. We did, and we love it.

Only exists on non-advertising websites.

Basically word of mouth.

That's why governments want to restrict the internet from the plebes.

I presumed the PP was being sarcastic. If anyone actually gets their news from NewsMax or OAN and it doesn’t seem to you to be insane, illogical, and ridiculous, you seriously need to go back to school for critical thinking training. I was looking for a lefty news channel to add, but there really isn’t one that bad.
