No need to mention names. Thanks

I've heard some Tall Tales in my life, but this is up there!

A 2010 kid from SYC is one of the Top Talents in the Country and his name isn't known in all the DMV soccer circles and all the IG sites dedicated to youth soccer aren't posting about him?
Uncanny

The 2010's USYNT pools showed No One from a Non MLS Club or International Academy btw (yes, these things are published)

You're confusing the national ID center with the regional ones. Your stalking is incomplete. Check the Wilmington, January 2024 Regional ID list and SYC's facebook page. And although this player, was not on the national (Chicago) list, it doesn't mean they're not a great player and it doesn't make any of the statements untrue. Get ahold of yourself.

Chicago, California?

The regional list is long and has many players there for numbers sake.

So the narrative here you want us to believe is that a super elite player can't get out of the local pool to the regional (Atlanta) pool to the National pool, but academies all over the country are chasing him down?

You're so ridiculous. There are only 2 DC United Academy players on your precious list. So NONE of the other players on DC United are elite players? And again, it doesn't make any of the poster's statements untrue about the player. I don't want you to believe anything. They're just facts. I'm not related to the player in any way and don't know him other than my son having played against him. You are the one that would have people "believe" anything. And why do you care? Just a crusader?

The SYC MLS NEXT Player will most likely meet the qualifications to progress further with the USNYT beings though he has been scouted and is a current Academy player now. We should want the best for the youth .. Not being jealous of teenagers and their accomplishments. . The 2010's SYC MLS Next team as a whole was a great team last season. That's why , lots of Academies were interested in the previous players. Keep following the SYC MLS NEXT Academy previous players, promise you will not be disappointed , Union season will begin soon...

Keep an eye on 'X' as they won't be around long through the filtering process.

Even as their massive size may seem like an advantage

I'm sure the PP didn't create the list.
It's a list from USYNT

We've already proven it to be a false narrative that the SYC player is on the USYNT pool
They like many others were invited to the early stages camp and didn't progress forward.

There is no discussion about elite versus non elite. Just facts.

I hope no one is against the players.

People are just against the lies and exaggerations.
If the kid is good with future potential, fine.

Just don't make up nonsense to say he is Mbappe today.

What a stupid take. U14 is when it starts to get serious. There has always been kids with multiple offers from different academies, and there will be more in the future. Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they don't exist.

And they said US Talent ID, not the camp. There's a difference.

With reference to an earlier post re: this national USYNT, there are a fair number of kid on this list from non-MLS Academies, including both ECNL and MLS Next clubs. Just not on the East list.

Where there are large geographical gaps between MLS Clubs, it only makes sense the other teams in those void areas have strong players.

I thought U15 is when it started getting serious.
Why aren't U14's at GA Cup and MLS Next Flex?

Also, I'm impressed that MLS Clubs have such big scouting budgets and budgets to find 13 year olds all over the country and pay for family relocation.
Thats impressive.

.

And there ARE 13 year olds that get picked up and no, they don't relocate their entire family. Those kids are either in a residency or homestay program. I don't know of a single academy that pays for the whole family.

Picked up from MLS Next waiver wires?

I think you mean the parents actively and heavily shop the kids out to whoever and wherever they can get in by any means and sacrifices necessary.
