Player development matters?

I don’t even get the intended point. Are that the program the player left deserves partial credit for the commit?
Or are they saying that a player’s departure from program A and recruiting success at B proves that B is better than A?
So silly.
And by the way who knows everyone’s prior team(s)? Silly and strange!

It is to indicate that teams like NL are good at 1 thing. Getting kids recruited.

Not surprised when the cherry pick a team and do not cultivate talent.

everyone's prior team (s)? Silly and strange!
Most players improve on their own by doing their own training outside of the club anyway. No one cares where a player was before they were recruited.

I think the point is that all but 1 of the NL players who have committed thus far were developed by coaches and programs that are not NL.

It takes a village, and most kids develop through their own hard work or natural athleticism anyway - not the club. NL, DCE and ML are all solid programs that play in top national tournaments and offer good recruiting exposure. If a kid has the talent and the will, he can succeed at any of them.

Truth 100%

Yea this crap about which club “developed” a player is pure bs. Clubs don’t developed players. Families- parents and the player- do the development.

Such a pathetically weak attempt to make a club more important than it is.

Also why ignore the public school player? That is a huge disrespect from a person who must be really following this class

I'm sure it was an oversight.
