Yup, taking a hard line stance that you aren't really sincere about on a wedge issue just to maintain reliable voting support from a small faction of people can backfire. Oopsie daisy.... the SCOTUS overturned Roe! That's what they get for trying to appeal to a small percentage of crazies.

Thank you for not demonizing! My kids have met my close friend who was a drag queen. He wasn’t in drag though. He’s a great person and we’ve been friends since grade school (in our 50s now). There is a human being behind the drag makeup.

Would you feel the same way if he donned blackface and performed minstrel shows, or is only donning breasts and hips and performing drag which is acceptable to you?
