ECNL forcing Brave & Union Partnership

It will be McLean/Union coaches. There is NO way Brave coaches will be coaching the girls side.

Will there only be one ECNL team between them or will they have 2 like some clubs?

I’m hearing that it’s basically a dissolution of Brave, Union name will stay the same, but will make the pipeline Vienna, BRYC as well. I don’t think it will change much for the top players because most of the top players tryout at Union anyway, but it will mean the lower players will need to go elsewhere. Consolidating the talent is good for ECNL and will mean more options to have top girls on one team.

Thank your arrogant McLean parent for your input.

Union coaches? You mean McLean coaches. There were no syc coaches for Union. Just a deal for McLean to steal players.

McLean coaches are spread too thin, they don’t have time to develop players

So there won’t be any Brave coaches (girl side)?

Hopefully not. Need the best developmental coaches at the younger age groups and the best recruiting track record at the older age groups.

Will Vienna players move to Union without their coaches? Why would they do that? There are other places for them to go.

Correct, they can follow their coaches to RL.

Players can follow their coaches to RL if they want, but otherwise they are going to have new coaches no matter what. At least McLean is close by, but everyone should look around and find the best fit for them.
