So, vote them out. Better yet, run against them yourself. We have a process in this country for removing elected officials who do not conform to the desires of their constituents. It’s called law and order. Grow up and deal with it.

Actually the word you're looking for is "elections".

"Law and order" is an important part of the elections process.

No, it's basically the opposite of the elections process. "Law and order" means empowering the powerful to lock up the powerless in disregard of due process of law and other constitutional rights.

You are simply wrong. The term “law and order” is umbrella for a large scope of practices, including elections.

there were no police killed on 1/6. How uninformed are you on events.

Police died from the events on 1/6– do you really want to nitpick that?

Yes. Because they died not on 1/6, but after. And for all you know the same could happen with this terror attack. It’s still early.

You have a very big misunderstanding of "law and order". We are no longer in the Old West or the segregated South.

Quick check of Twitter and I’m losing count of how many pro-Hamas ANC Commissioners we have. WOW.

Nope. "Law and order" is locking up 5 teenagers for a crime they didn't commit. "Elections" is one of those wrongly convicted and incarcerated people getting voted into office as a city council member.

Authoritarian governments are big on "law and order" but not elections - or at least not real ones.

Yeah, but... I believe Israel has a right to exist and a duty to go after Hamas, but I'm not sure I agree that calling for a ceasefire inherently makes you pro-Hamas, period. A lot of Palestinians who had nothing to do with the October 7 attacks are dying or suffering in the war; I think a ceasefire should only happen in exchange for freeing hostages, so I think these protesters are wrong, but I don't think everyone who agrees with them or supported their protest wants me and every other Jew to be slaughtered (which clearly IS what Hamas wants).
