They haven't done anything and are about to take the next 3 weeks off, after having also taken most of September and October off as well.

Hard at work on the taxpayer dime.

+1 This Congress has only passed 22 bills total. Including the ones that just rename things. Least productive Congress since the last one during Hoover’s administration after which all the Republicans got rode out of town on a rail.

I mean, I still don't even understand what the potential charges of high crimes would be here.

The house republicans don't either

+1 “House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into President Biden is predicated on allegations about the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor that have been debunked — under oath — by at least nine government witnesses.”

they literally have nothing, but will waste next year...doing nothing

Given how impeachment helped Clinton, this is only good news for the Dems.

JD Vance is calling for Republicans to pass "pro-family" legislation since he's seeing the writing on the wall with Roe and the woman from Texas. I'm waiting for I'm a Christian Mike to bring pro-family legislation to the floor. 🤣

Republicans running away from work with nothing to show for their majority. What a bunch of cowards and clowns.

McCarthy and Santos now gone. And today Bill Johnson announces he is resigning as of Jan. 21. That will take the House to 219-213. Should be good times with the CR expiring in a few weeks.

And the special election for Santos' seat is Feb 13, which will likely take it to 219-214.

The less laws passed the better.

Good job

the GOP cannot even pass a rule to allow new bills to be brought forward. The House will likely remain closed through a government shutdown now.

They couldn't pass a lunch order.

“When the GOP narrowly took control of the House last year, Earl Blumenauer made a bold prediction: Democrats had a slight chance of reclaiming power before the next election--through sheer attrition. That no longer looks so far fetched.”

They all keep quitting! It’s wild to watch one quit every few weeks. And then the two out for sickness…

Plus, not in the House but Grassley being out sick further drives the appearance of a sinking Republican Party.
