Faulkner never studied at UVA for a single day.

No, he just taught there . https://faulkner.lib.virginia.edu/

Stop misleading people delusional booster. From the article: "Here you can listen in on William Faulkner’s sessions with audiences at the University of Virginia in 1957 and 1958, during his two terms as UVA’s first Writer-in-Residence."

Faulkner was a 'writer in residence' for 2 years - he did not teach at UVA.

That could be the reason that UNC overtook UVA to be the #4 top public.
If you want to count people such as 'writer in residences, fellows, visiting scholars, visiting researchers etc. etc., UNC has dozens.

Oh for God's sake, no one cares here about UNC. STOP UNC booster. UNC, unlike UVA at 30%, takes less than 10% OOS. No one from DCUM land can get in! just stop it. Glad you went there but stop.

+1. UNC is irrelevant to this website, DCUM

Um, so is UVA. But of course, this thread has turned into a discussion of a school that's not even remotely relevant.
