Of course not.

Nothing wrong with electric, which is zero carbon admissions.

Why not?

You people are kooky.

And it’s, “emissions”

And there is no place that produces "zero carbon" electricity either, so both the spelling and the science are bad.

Only a true MAGA would still have a gas stove in their home.

I am amused at how something that was *not a concern at all* for decades/centuries suddenly became a meme about two years ago and all the progressive left people immediately fell into lockstep.

Let's sit back for a moment, ok? And relax.

This thread is the wealthy country of America.

If you still have a gas stove, you are a MAGA.

Exactly. I mean, why did the progressive fascist left start the witch hunt on cigarettes? On radon? On riding bikes without helmets? On car seats for kids? On burning wood and kerosene in the house without ventilation? It’s much better not to learn anything and continue to do things as we’ve always done them. The old ways are always the best ways. That’s why we should go back to living without sanitized water and sewer systems. Preach on.

I’m keeping my gas furnace and gas cooktop.

I love my gas stove and run my strong outside venting system during any cooking. When this stove dies i will get induction.

Ours died and we got induction. From a cooking perspective, it’s magical. Temperature control is precise and no more cleaning heavy grates. You will love it.

So you don’t miss your gas stove? We will be moving to an all-electric house and I was mourning the impending loss of my gas range.

Restaurants too? Those are notorious for being conservative hot beds!

We only know what we know. The only thing I miss is that whoosh and the blue flames. I don’t miss having to realign the igniter and burner ports, I don’t miss the clicking sound that meant something needed to be cleaned, I don’t miss the scrubbing of the grates or trying to keep the area around the burners clean. I love that that the range shuts off automatically, so that I don’t have to have to rush back into the house to make sure everything is off. We still use gas for our outdoor grill, so I get to see the flames there.
