I eat leftover salmon for breakfast. I think traditional American breakfasts are disgusting and need protein! - European Swede |
| I’m making homemade kung pao chicken.., with extra ginger! |
| Melissa Clark’s skillet chicken with tomatoes, mozzarella, and pancetta. |
Thank you for this recipe! |
Sorry I do this. But I’m a nanny and have to cook for the family. I cook very elaborate meals and then go home and eat crackers for dinner. |
|
We just had grilled hot dogs, corn on the cob, and watermelon for dinner for sure this has to be our last “summer” supper? But the farmers market keeps having very good corn and melon, so we keep eating it!
Last night I made a chicken and veggie curry stew with steamed rice and broccoli. |
| Chicken with Cajun seasoning, rice, and spinach. If there are leftovers, I’ll use them tomorrow for a stir fry with cellophane noodles. |
| I usually make an elaborate Sunday dinner, but I wanted something quick and easy tonight - marinated steak, boiled potatoes, steamed cauliflower. Twenty minutes and done. |
| Chicken schnitzel w braised cabbage |
| Meat sauce and pasta, raw carrot sticks. We're not fancy people - last Sunday we had scrambled eggs and sourdough bagels, and watermelon. |
| Roast chicken, roasted potatoes, stuffing, root veg and Yorkshire puddings with gravy |
| As always Bob's Shanghai Rockville. |
NP: Nanny, how come you don't cook a little extra of your elaborate meals and take them home for yourself? You deserve more than crackers. |
| Chili with pumpkin bread. |
| I made a couple things I learned about on DCUM! Shredded chicken w/ salsa in the crockpot and a baked cheesy poblano rice casserole. Paired with beans and guacamole and salad. Picky DD loved the chicken so this was a huge win. |
