I thought that too until post partum food intolerances really did a number in me. There are so many ways for our bodies to get out of balance. Be thankful you have the freedom to think it’s all in someone else’s head. |
How’s this for you: Someone drops a lot of weight AND is covered in fine white hair (also known as lanugo) AND is suddenly vegan. These are three clues that go toward solving the puzzle that someone is suffering for an eating disorder. I already said clearly that “of course people can be healthy and choose to be vegan.” Shall I say it slower so you can keep up? |
As you are with your guests. But do martyr on in the name of self serving “helpfulness”. |

The PP was being sarcastic and was agreeing with you, moron. |
| You will provide salad and vegetables and drinks. They can bring the rest for themselves. You have enough on your plate. Plus, you won't make it right no matter how hard you try. If they want a vegan turkey, they can bring one to serve on the side. |
Don’t say or type “nosh.” Ever. |
No one wants vegan turkey. Even us disordered vegans 😂 |
Oh my stars you are terrible. |
So that individual was rude. What does that have to do with everyone else who is gf or df? |
LOL This poster thinks vegans are demanding.... |
Oh, but you want to feel included! You want to be treated like other guests! How dare there not be as many vegan options for you as there is a full spread for other guests. And how are you supposed to live without some type of protein?! Your lazy, lazy host made vegan chili AGAIN?
|
Oh go back to your toilet! |
Yes, that PP is ALL VEGANS ROLLED INTO ONE! |
I know it’s hard to follow since the posts are anonymous. What I said upthread was that OP might consider asking the vegans if they actually eat things like tofurkey or tofutti or whatever else she is going out of her way to get on their behalf. Because my gf/df relatives refused a gf/df dessert. It would have been easier to have the convo ahead of time and give them the opportunity to say no, I don’t actually eat any desserts besides fruit and if you bring me a gf pie I won’t eat it. |
She is, though. Several people have suggested that OP look into a tofurkey-esque loaf, and here comes a “real live actual vegan” pooh-poohing that idea. So what’s a host like OP supposed to do… |
