Well that FATHER was having an affair so f him and his opinions |
If you can’t differentiate between the character and the actor, I’m not sure what to tell you. Seriously consider stepping away from this show for a bit if it gets you this worked up. |
Seriously. PP is way too invested in a tv show. |

I’m reattaching now (ugh, it’s the best.) two things I’m thinking about:
1. There was such a vast discrepancy in wealth/stability of home life in Angela’s school. Angela and Sharon are middle/upper middle class, but it seems like they are in a larger, more diverse and urban school district? There also seems to be an inordinate amount of representation of teenagers in unstable homes and/or facing homelessness. Did this seem extreme to anyone? 2. Wow, as a thirty something mom of a boy, do I feel Brian Kraków’s pain. Jordan Catalano still fine as hell though. |
100% Everyone smart knew the direction this would have gone in!! |
You must not live in Fairfax County. |
Knowing the direction and liking the direction are two very different things and have nothing to do with being smart. We are allowed to like different characters. |
| Yes, totally loved Brian! |
I also graduated HS in 1994. I was not having sex but my best friend in 10th grade dropped out because she was pregnant. Another friend dropped out senior year because she was pregnant. And there were others I was not very close with. My graduating class only had 80 people. It's safe to say the majority other than. me were having sex from 10th grade on. There was at least one girl in every grade having a baby throughout my entire 4 years of high school. |

I thought Krakow was a coward for not being honest about loving Angela, and I kept calling him an idiot when he wrote Jordan's love letter because he was too afraid to sign his own name to it. At the end of the season, I think when they left us with a longing look from Angela toward Krakow, as she was driving away with Jordan (the imposter), that was meant as a cliff hanger for season 2, which unfortunately never happened. So I can understand why many viewers like me thought that was the worst series ending ever! (And yes, I did root for Brian, as long as he grew a pair, which he didn't by the unintended end of the series) Signed: Richard D. |
