Is Landon worth it?

The only downside of the school is middle school math. It is horrible.

Does the math get better in upper school or still bad? Thinking about Landon for 9th.

Wonder if the coaches realize that some of their players are smoking pot and up to nonsense half the time. It is really too bad that the problem kids get the attention and praise over others who work hard and put in the time. I don't believe the coach-mentor philosophy they tout is really all that.

I'm a Prep grad and Prep parent, but I am going to defend Landon here. Do not believe for a second that the public schools or other privates do not also have their challenges. Some unfortunate things happened at Landon in a relatively short period of time that became publicized, but those same things could very easily have happened at other schools--Public and Private. Landon may not have handled the messaging as well as they should have, but it is by no means a school full of degenerate, white, rich kids--certainly no more than Whitman, Churchill or WJ.

Or Prep for that matter.
