Only if sent home. Not if out sick by choice. |
What an insightful response! |
We know they aren’t real nurses, but we usually just say nurse. Instead of “sent to the clinic.” Doesn’t mean PP is a troll. Idiot. |
Seriously, kid was sent to the clinic. School called and sent the kid home with a COVID Test. COVID test was positive and the kid was home for 10 days. Does it matter if the person running the clinic is a Nurse or Clinician or whatever their title is? |
That wasn’t clear in first statement. Sent to clinic sick, Covid positive- yes out ten days. Sent to clinic- negative Covid, come back when better Stay home sick- return when better, no test required |
| Report from MS DS, one kid in his math class without a mask. That was it. |
+1 What about teachers? |
| Give it a few weeks. Especially the older kids, no one wants to be the first. My DS’s ES seemed to be about 10-15% maskless today and I expect that will increase. |
YUP was just going to write this. I'm a parent and a teacher....I still say school nurse
|
Report from MS DD: AM bus-- everyone masked, including driver Period 1-- everyone masked, including teacher Period 3-- everyone masked, including teacher Period 5-- one student without mask. Teacher masked Period 7-- everyone masked, including teacher PM bus-- everyone masked, including driver DD said as she walked around, she only saw one teacher without a mask and fewer than five students without masks. She said all the administrators were masked, and all the lunch room staff was masked, as well. |
| I honestly cannot believe you're having your kids tally up masked vs. non-masked. Way to amp up the drama on what should be a drama-free decision. |
You had your child so this? Bizarre. |
I didn't have my child do this. She did this herself. |
| My 4th grader said yesterday only one child in his class pulled his mask on and off throughout the day but everyone else was wearing a mask including the teacher and school administration. My 6th grader's teacher was maskless but the class wore their masks. No one is comfortable yet going maskless. I'm OK with that. |
Lame! |
